Tamil Nadu - (Letteralmente: La terra dei Tamils) è uno stato del Sud dell'India, noto per i suoi tesori artistici, per la sua industria cinematografica, per l'amore del suo popolo per la danza e la musica nonchè per la sua svariata gastronomia. Il linguaggio più diffuso è il Tamil appartenente al ceppo dravida. L'Inglese anche è molto diffuso ,soprattutto nelle grandi città.
